The Godly Rebel

Something that I have been experiencing a lot more since growing in Christ are these moments that I can only describe as God giving me a little wink 😉 as if he is whispering, ‘I see you girl’.

Today, I want to talk about this cute moment during the first prayer meeting that my friend had organised. It was such a wholesome evening, the sun was dwindling, but spring had sprung, so there was still a hint of warmth in the air.

Whilst we were sat out in her garden, sharing the Word (and chocolates 🤭)– We ended the gathering by praying for one another– and then my friend pointed towards the sky.

I looked upwards, and this was my view 🥹

I can hear you all saying ‘is that it’ but hear me out 😅

I naturally have a way of romanticising everything in life, but to me it was such a profound moment.

What stood out to me most was that although the birds were flying in the same direction, their line was uneven.
Some were slightly ahead.
Some lagged behind.
The formation bent in places.
And honestly, that felt symbolic.

Me and my friends may all be journeying towards God, but our paths will not look identical. Life naturally brings different seasons, struggles, healing processes, responsibilities, timing, and lessons for each of us.
Yet despite the differences, we are still moving towards Him 🙏🏽

Sometimes these moments are not loud miracles or dramatic signs and wonders– and that’s what makes it so easy to overlook and ignore, but God has a way of fine tuning our thoughts and senses when we deepen our relationship with Him.

Blink and you may miss it! 😌

Today I am thankful to be surrounded by beautiful women who also see the beauty in the everyday.

Psalm 119:133 came to mind: “Order my steps in Your word.”
And maybe that is exactly what faith is—allowing God to guide our direction, even when everybody’s path looks different.

God never asked us to have matching timelines–

Only surrendered direction.
